About Their Physical Activity
- 65% of MSU students reported exercising at least 20-30 minutes three or more times a week last year*.
- One of the main reasons student reported for exercising was to help them manage stress of feeling overwhelmed of being too busy.
- Other reasons student reported for exercising was because it was fun, gave them more energy, helped them to look better, helped them to sleep better and/or helped them to maintain their weight.
Though many students reported choosing to stay active, incorporating exercising into your daily live may seem difficult and inconvenient. That is why SPARTANfit is here to help. Part of college is learning how to taking ownership for your own lifestyle decisions and their consequence. The SPARTANfit program exists to assist and empower you in the informed decisions making process that impacts not only your fitness level but more importantly your overall health and academic success.
