Visitors coming to Olin Health Center may park in the MSU Grand River Parking Ramp next to Olin. The parking is Pay-by-Plate, and Olin does not validate or pay for parking within this parking structure.
Parking stubs from the orange and blue Division St East Lansing parking structure can be validated within Olin at the clinic in which a patient is treated.
There is limited metered parking in front of the building. Be aware that if you park in the designated pharmacy parking spots you could get ticketed.
For visitors to the Neighborhood Clinics, parking is extremely limited.
When Olin Health Center is closed and non-emergency medical care is desired or recommended by the Phone Information Nurse, students can call LYFT, UBER, or a taxi for transport to a local urgent care clinic or hospital.
When Olin Health Center is open, and a student prefers to use an urgent care clinic off-campus, the student should expect to cover the cost of transportation. If it is not a medical emergency and an ambulance is not required, for an average of $2/mile or $3/person, students may call a cab for transportation to the hospital or an urgent care clinic. Located on Routes 1, 24, 26, and 34, the CATA bus drops off both in front of Olin and behind Olin on the Berkey Hall (east) side of the building.
